The mixtape to end all mixtapes: four writers each play you a song and share their feelings about it. Get ready to get soulful, intimate and maybe even have a bit of a boogie.

Ever wished you could go back and be in the audience when your favourite author performed their work for the first time? This just may be your chance! These writers may not have read their work to an audience before, but there’s a first time for everything. Open mic slots available – you won’t find a more supportive audience anywhere.

Disibility is so often silenced in the literary canon. What does it mean to be a writer with disability, or to tell disability stories? These writers are refusing to stay silent.
I’ll also be hiding behind a camera at various events, filming the official NYWF wrap-up video. Please do come up and say hello. And if you’re feeling at all nervous about the whole experience, have a read through Aunty Alex’s NYWF survival guide, and remember that we’re all in this together (cue Ben Lee singalong).
