MOVIE REVIEW: Bunny and the Bull
Thanks to Cinema Nova’s $6 movies on Mondays, I had the pleasure of seeing Bunny and the Bull yesterday.
The film, an imaginary journey through main character Stephen’s memory, uses a charming combination of animation and British humour. Featuring a specatcular supporting cast, including Richard Ayoade as a shoe museum curator, Julian Barratt as a dog-loving tramp, and a very fake-tanned Noel Fielding pretending to be Spanish, Bunny and the Bull is a fascinating visual treat. Like the Mighty Boosh, some of the jokes are a little squeamish, but overall it’s a very creative and fun little film, and I do recommend it.
