Melbourne Fringe 2012: Two Guys, a Girl and a Microphone

The thing about up-and-coming comedians is that one day they’ll reach a point where they are no longer ‘up-and-coming’, but simply ‘comedians’.  In the case of Lauren Bok, Roland Hoffman and Sam Petersen, that day could come for any one of them in the not-so-distant future, so I’d certainly recommend seeing them before they get ‘big’.  Two Guys, a Girl and a Microphone is just what it says on the tin: three comedians for the price of one.  Each has their own unique yet hilarious style, and although you mightn’t have heard of any of them, these seemingly young people are strong performers, with great material, and they are here to prove themselves worthy of your $15 [$12 concession].  Playing the 6pm slot at Gertrudes Brown Couch for the next few days, catch Two Guys, a Girl and a Microphone now before one or all of them becomes too cool for small, inexpensive venues.
