I Am Never Ever Ever Getting This Song Out of My Head
While I may be a rock chick at heart, I’ve always had a soft spot for a well-written pop song – and Taylor Swift‘s latest single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”, instantly wormed its way into my head the first time that I heard it. As my sister Ebony is quite the T-Swizzle fan, I’ve heard it many times since then, and I’m still not sick of it. The song is simple and catchy and fun – basically everything that makes a good pop song great. And, I will admit, I’ve had a little bit of a soft spot for Taylor after I accompanied Eb to her concert earlier this year. The girl is quite a performer, and she loves her fans.
Now, I know you’ve heard the song – it’s currently at #3 in the ARIA chart, and all over the radio – but have you seen the video clip? It’s as happy and fun as the song itself – and the whole thing is shot in one long take, including five costume changes for Miss Swift. Directed by Declan Whitebloom, and available on YouTube in surprisingly high quality [4K resolution!], this clip is bound to inspire millions of pre-teen girls to jump and dance around while dressed as woodland animals.
