Duly Noted

I’m off to Canberra on Sunday for the final day of Noted Festival, where I’ll be doing a reading for The Fearless Writing Project, spending all my money at the Independent Publishing Fair, and running a teen writing workshop about story structure.

#WriteEveryDayInMay 2017

One year ago, I set myself a challenge. Inspired by the Rock and Roll Writers Festival, The Lifted Brow’s experimental writing competition, and a pile of incredible YA novels, I decided to write 1000 words every single day throughout the month of May.

NaNoWriMo 2016

Hey, remember when I pledged to write at least 1000 words a day for the entire month of May, and somehow managed to pull it off?

Scrapshot – July/August 2016

Hightlights of the past two months have included: traveling to Sydney for Janos Jersch’s Shooter/Producer course at AFTRS, seeing Ghostbusters and Absolutely Fabulous at the cinema, a weekend in Melbourne for Glenn’s birthday (including lunch at The Cuckoo, and seeing the stage production of Matilda), catching up with hometown friends, live music from Josh Pyke and Sarah McLeod, receiving an ACRA nomination, going on the giant flying fox at Pennyroyal with Georgie, indulging myself at the Latrobe Chocolate Winterfest, and many more delights that I can’t quite remember off the top of my head.
